It’s not always absurd that more and more people are turning to fictional superheroes of let. Our moral compasses are held by heroes like Superman, Wonder woman, Iron man, Spiderman, and more. But the question remains, what is it with these heroes that anchor us towards justice and a better life? Even though we know they are fictional we believe in their words and at times their power. I am going to break down the wisdom that most superheroes impart. The post is not restricted to one universe and I will amalgamate both Marvel and DC universes.

1. “We never lose our demons, Mordo. We only learn to live above them.” (The Ancient One, ‘Doctor Strange’)

2. “I make grave mistakes all the time. Everything seems to work out.” (Thor, ‘Thor: Ragnarok’)

3. “Just because something works, doesn’t mean it can’t be improved.” (Shuri, ‘Black Panther)

4. “It’s not about how much we lost. It’s about how much we have left.” (Tony Stark, ‘Avengers: Endgame’)

5. “No man can win every battle, but no man should fall without a struggle.” (Peter Parker, ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’)

6. “Trust yourself, trust your power — that’s how you stop it.” (Doctor Strange, ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’)

7. “You seek love. It’s all any of us want.” (Thor, ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’)

8. “Endure, Master Wayne. Take it. They’ll hate you for it, but that’s the point of Batman, he can be the outcast. He can make the choice that no one else can make, the right choice.” (Batman)

9. “There is a right and a wrong in the universe and the distinction should not be hard to make. (Superman)

10. “It’s never as bad as it seems. You’re stronger than you think you are. Trust me.” (Superman)

10. “Because no matter how small an act of kindness or generosity or simple positivity you put out into the world, it will make a difference.” — Wonder Woman

11. “I used to want to save the world. To end the war and bring peace to mankind, but then I glimpsed the darkness that lives within their light. I learned that inside every one of them there will always be both. The choice each must make for themselves — something no hero will ever defeat.” — Diana, Wonder Woman

12. “Sometimes The Only Way To Move Forward Is To Revisit The Things In Your Past.”- The Flash

13. “People We Admire Aren’t Always Who We’d Like Them To Be.”

Final Thought

The quotes mentioned above are by superheroes from both Marvel and DC universes. These are the lines that we hold onto in times of crisis. Skimming through these powerful words by these relevant heroes gives us a reason to believe in something good, something meaningful. Spiderman’s quotes have become an integral part of pop culture along with other life lessons that we like to draw from other superheroes. Of course, the angst of Batman is relatable to everyone under the sun and it can never be redundant for people.
