The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion is a mid-range smartphone as we know already. Although the mid-range segment can be the most competitive, if a smartphone has the specifications to show for it, users will definitely buy it. My biggest concern with Motorola smartphones have always been their cameras. I have used smartphones from the company before and everything has been great except for the cameras. Now, that shouldn’t really bother you if you are not looking for a camera-centric smartphone or if you are not a very active social media user. Except, in the new Motorola Edge 20 Fusion, the brand has really leveled up its camera game and integrated a whooping 108MP main rear camera! I found that really impressive especially for a smartphone under the 25k price range with a 5G processor as well. The features of the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion are really great for its price, so let us have a look at all the technical specs.

Cameras- The Edge 20 Fusion has a triple camera setup at the back. There is a 108-megapixel primary camera like I mentioned above and it’s impressive. This is then followed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a final 2-megapixel depth sensor. The ultra-wide-angle camera is also capable of taking macro shots. At the top of the display is a hole that houses the 32-megapixel selfie shooter.

Performance- In terms of performance, the smartphone is packed with a 5000mAh battery and a 30W Turbo charger in the box. The charger has a USB Type-C output, and a Type-C to Type-C cable is bundled in the box. Teaming up with the big battery is a MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC and it is offered in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. Storage for both remains unchanged at 128GB. The smartphone further has a hybrid dual-SIM slot arrangement and can take in two 5G SIMs, or one SIM and a microSD card- that can expand storage by up to 512GB on this device.

Display- The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion sports a big 6.7-inch full-HD+ OLED display. This panel has a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, support for HDR10, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. You can switch between different colour modes and also adjust the colour temperature of this display to your liking.

Build and design- The frame of the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion is made of plastic and is curved towards the back of the smartphone, making it comfortable to hold. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion, which is integrated into the power button on the right side. The volume buttons are positioned above it. On the left are the SIM tray and a button to summon the Google Assistant. The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion has a USB Type-C port at the bottom along with a 3.5mm headphone jack, the primary microphone, and the loudspeaker. The top of the frame only has the secondary microphone. Motorola has gone with a plastic rear panel. The smartphone is available in the colour options of Electric Graphite and Cyber Teal. The thickness of the device is 8.25mm, and it weighs 185g.
