What’s an underrated phone under 11k?
The over 10k segment in the smartphone market is the most competitive one. This is called the mid-range market normally and most companies choose to release their products under this price segment. Now, I always like reviewing newer and underrated smartphones and so for this particular blog I would go for the relatively unheard of Coolpad Cool 6 smartphone.
The Coolpad Cool 6 was introduced for the lower mid-range market. The new smartphone has been launched in India as a follow up to Coolpad Cool 5 that was released in October of last year. The new Coolpad Cool 6 the company claims boasts of some really great and some of the best advanced features for a smartphone that are suitable for high-end mobile gaming. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 10,999 in India for the 4GB RAM plus 64GB internal storage model while the higher 6GB RAM plus 128GB internal storage configuration is priced at Rs. 12,999. The Coolpad Cool 6 smartphone comes with up to 128GB of onboard storage that is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card through a dedicated slot. It is a really decent smartphone and a good addition to the lower mid-range market segment.
My favourite are the cameras on the phone. The best thing is that the Coolpad Cool 6 comes with a very innovative pop selfie camera. The 21 megapixel selfie camera at the front of the phone has an aperture of f/2.0 and the lens comes in such a design that can be hidden and then it can be popped-up when needed which is pretty convenient. The Coolpad Cool 6 comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors aligned vertically with the flash at the bottom of the camera module. Further, it is a really powerful phone in terms of performance. It is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC and is paired with up to 6GB of RAM. The Helio P70 processor is known to power mid-range phones packing in a solid performance and a lag-free interface.
The new smartphone features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display with a 93 percent screen-to-body ratio. This is achieved because the phone does not feature any notch or hole-punch cutout in its design. In dimensions, the Coolpad Cool 6 phone measures 157x76x8mm and weighs 120 grams. It is offered in blue and silver colour options. The new smartphone is currently available for purchase on Amazon in the country. The Coolpad Cool 6 supports Nano dual-SIM and runs on Android 10.
