Tecno Spark 8 Pro is here
Another new launch from Tecno this week. Tecno has been launching awesome smartphones at the speed of light lately but no complaints at all. The newest device to launch the ever growing range of Tecno devices is the Tecno Spark 8 Pro. This smartphone was released on Wednesday in India and is an upgrade of the regular Tecno Spark 8 that debuted in the country in September. In terms of specs, the smartphone is loaded, starting with a triple rear camera setup, and a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, among other things.
The Tecno Spark 8 Pro also features a hole-punch display design. The smartphone features a 6.8-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,460 pixels) Dot-in display, which is basically a hole-punch design, with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio and 500 nits of peak brightness. I think the display is a pretty impressive feature of the smartphone and the device is available in the colour options of Interstellar Black, Komodo Island, Turquoise Cyan, and Winsor Violet colours. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 169.0x76.8x8.77mm.
The Tecno Spark 8 Pro is powered by an octa-core Mediatek Helio G85 processor which is also capable of supporting gaming, and is further paired with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The RAM is also virtually expandable by up to 7GB using the internal storage. The smartphone’s price in India has been set at Rs. 10,599 under an introductory offer for the single 4GB RAM + 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, that is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card.
There is a massive 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging that is claimed to fully charge the phone from 0 to 85 percent in as little as 60 minutes. The Tecno Spark 8 Pro will compete against the likes of the Realme Narzo 50A, Infinix Hot 11S, and the Samsung Galaxy M12. The smartphone runs on Android 11 with HiOS v7.6 on top.
