Tecno launches new phone in India…
Tecno smartphones are mostly very impressive, but the company’s unveiling ofits latest offering, which is the first premium flagship smartphone from Tecno is something very impressive. Although the Tecno Phantom X was launched a few months ago, it has only now been launched in India. The brand is known for making more budget friendly phones with decent features. The new Tecno Phantom X smartphone is a real flagship of the brand.
The Phantom X is first and foremost a camera-centric smartphone and the elaborate setup is the sole focus of the device, pun intended. The main camera has a 1/1.3” sensor with 50MP resolution. It has fairly large 1.2µm pixels (larger still with binning, 2.4µm), Dual Pixel AF and Laser AF. The 50MP camera comes with a ‘super night mode’ feature on both selfie and rear cameras to help you capture really detailed images in dark environments. There’s also a feature Tecno calls ‘FILM MODE‘. The company claims this will help users take cinematic videos with the Phantom X.
Besides the excellent camera, there is a Mediate Helio G95 processor powering the Phantom X. It comes with Mali-G76 MC4 GPU and 8G RAM with 256GB internal storage. There is a 4,700mAh Li-Po battery, accompanied by 33w fast charger and a 30 minutes charge will give you 70% of battery, which the company claims will last for 29hrs. The Tecno Phantom X also features a 6.7” Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 1080p+ resolution (19.5:9) and curved sides. Gorilla Glass 5 guards both the front and back. I think it’s the most ambitious device from Tecno yet, but I’m not complaining at all. Phantom X is looking amazing in terms of its loaded features and great camera specs, with a fair pricing as well. I just hope this will live up to all the hype surrounding the release.
