Specs and features of Tecno Pova 5G

Tecno’s Pova 5G device launched in India a while back and the specs and features for the same have been pretty decent considering the price point. In terms of pricing, the smartphone is aimed for the mid-range 5G market and price has been set at Rs. 21,999 in India. The storage variant is for a single 8GB + 128GB model that comes in three distinct colour options of Dazzle Black, Polar Silver, and Power Blue colours. For the mid-range segment, the specs compliment the price and being a pretty crowded segment of the market, it is the performance aspect and accompanying specs of any smartphone that would either make it or break it.

Display- The display of the smartphone is a good one too among other specs. The Tecno Pova 5G features a 6.95-inch HD+ (1,080x2,460 pixels) display with 120Hz refresh rate, 389ppi pixel density, and 82.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. It runs on Android 11-based HiOS 8.0. I like the display specs of the smartphone.

Processor- Adding on to that, the Tecno Pova 5G is integrated with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC under the hood, which is, as mentioned, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The Dimensity chipset is a good addition for an affordable 5G smartphone.

Battery- Further supporting the Dimensity processor, there is a massive 6000mAh battery and 18W fast charging support. The battery automatically secures the spot for my favourite feature on the smartphone.

Cameras- Tecno has provided a set of triple rear cameras in the smartphone along with a quad-LED flash. The rear camera setup is headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Additionally, the brilliant camera unit is also inclusive of a 13-megapixel secondary sensor along with a 2-megapixel shooter. Tecno has has additionally offered a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with dual-LED flash for all your selfies and video chats. The Tecno Pova 5G device also carries a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well, for the purpose of authentication.
