Display- Realme 8i features a 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,412 pixels) display with a 90.80 percent screen-to-body ratio, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, and Dragontrail Pro protection. It’s bright and big and can go from 600 nits to 1 nit — with 1 nit being the lowest brightness level. It also comes with a dynamic refresh rate that has six different levels — 30Hz, 48Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz. Further, the display of the Realme 8i carries a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Camera- Camera section of the smartphone is another awesome area to see. The Realme 8i carries a triple rear camera setup that has a 50-megapixel primary Samsung S5KJN1 sensor with an f/1.8 five-piece lens. This is followed by a 2-megapixel monochrome portrait sensor and finally another 2-megapixel sensor with a macro lens. Supporting the rear camera setup, there is brilliant selfie shooter in front as well. The Realme 8i features a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor in the front that supports artificial intelligence (AI) backed beautification functions, HDR mode, portrait mode, and a ‘Panoselfie’ feature, which is claimed to help capture wider selfies.
Battery- Realme has provided a 5000mAh battery on the Realme 8i. The big battery further comes with support for 18W fast charging. The Realme 8i measures 164.1x75.5x8.5mm and weighs 194 grams, making it not too bulky and easy to handle.
Processor- This smartphone has the potential to become a go to for the gaming enthusiasts. Realme 8i smartphone is powered by an octa-core Mediatek Helio G96 SoC. The chipset is coupled with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The 6GB RAM version of the phone also supports 5GB Virtual RAM that enhances multitasking by using the phone’s free storage.
Storage plus connectivity- The Realme 8i comes with up to 128GB of onboard storage that supports expansion up to 256GB via a microSD card through a dedicated slot.
