Samsung’s new launches are inclined more towards the budget segment and I am not complaining at all. The Galaxy A22 is one of the brand’s new 4G releases and for a prince point of 18k, the smartphone has some decent highlights. Of course there are more affordable options, some with better specs even, but Samsung as a brand gives more value than most budget brands that dominate the market these days. The Galaxy A22, as I wrote in a previous post, boasts of a massive 5,000mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 38 hours of talk time on a 4G network. The phone also has 15W adaptive fast charging. In terms of internal specs, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Mediatek Helio G80 SoC, along with 6GB of RAM. This will be a very ideal combination for gaming.

Now this was all about overall performance. Let’s look at the optics area, which is well stocked too. Samsung Galaxy A22 is armed with a great camera section. There is the quad rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens that has optical image stabilisation (OIS). This is also followed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle shooter, another 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a final 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. For selfies and video chats, the Samsung Galaxy A22 has a 13-megapixel camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.2 lens. So, what do you think?
