After so much anticipation Realme has finally launched two of its most affordable 5G smartphones in India on February 4. Whenever we hear the word ‘affordable’ in conjunction with smartphones, only one thing comes to mind: powered by MediaTek! And yes, again these two 5G smartphones are powered by wonderful Mediatek processors as well.

The Realme X7 Pro 5G is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ processor, which previously debuted integrated with the Oppo Reno 5 pro 5G almost a month ago. The Realme X7 5G, on the other hand, comes with a fresh Mediatek Dimensity 800U chipset, which is another debut in the country. Both the smartphones originally debuted in China in September last year. In this blog, let us take a look at the Realme X7 5G smartphone and its specifications.

The Realme X7 5G, as mentioned, is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 800U processor, that is accompanied by a Mali-G57 MC3 GPU, and up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The Realme X7 5G is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone that runs Android 10-based Realme UI with Realme UI 2.0 update coming soon. In terms of display, the smartphone features a 6.4-inch full HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 180Hz touch sampling rate and peak brightness of 600 nits. The Realme X7 comes in two storage variants. The base model packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage, while the higher variant comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

For cameras, the smartphone packs a triple rear setup with a a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens. This is followed by an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.3 lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture. There is also a 16-megapixel selfie shooter in the front of the device with an f/2.5 lens. I think this smartphone is seriously going to be a hit!
