Realme 8 5G arrives!

Realme launched the much awaited 5G variant of the Realme 8 and the overall specs are pretty great. The new 5G variant is an upgraded version of the Realme 8 that was launched in India alongside the Realme 8 Pro in March. The 5G handset from Realme comes equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and Dynamic RAM Expansion technology. This is the first smartphone in India to be integrated with a Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset so the performance aspect will be interesting to see. The smartphone also comes with a 90Hz display, a triple rear camera setup, and a hole-punch display. The cameras are decent and additionally there is a 5000mAh battery as well that comes with support for 18W fast charging.

The Realme 8 5G was launched in two storage configurations of 4GB and 8GB RAM variants. Price of the smartphone in India starts at Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, whereas the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option can be purchased at a price of Rs. 16,999. The smartphone features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and the brand has offered the smartphone in the colour options of Supersonic Black and Supersonic Blue.
