Pop is for the nostalgic heart

Everyone loves to hear pop songs. And most people will tell you that pop music is their favourite genre, or the artists they regularly listen to are pop musicians. I love pop music too. After all, who doesn’t love Michael Jackson, Katy Perry, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston and Britney Spears! All of us have grown up listening to English pop music and even after our tastes have changed dramatically after growing up, and even if we refuse to listen to anything other than Sufjan Stevens and Phoebe Bridgers or The Strokes now, we will always love the evergreen pop songs. Tell me you won’t feel like dancing to Billie Jean or Baby One More Time if you hear it right now? Impossible. So today, I’m gonna tell you some of my all time favourite pop songs.

The Way You Make Me Feel by Michael Jackson-

I may or may not be the biggest MJ fan and there are a ton of his songs that I love and want to list, but this one is just way up there and not many people talk about it enough! What a sick beat this song has!

Waiting for Tonight by Jennifer Lopez-

This song I used to blast around in the house when I was a kid. MTV used to play this all the time. Good old days!
