This realme smartphone comes with some pretty solid specs and features plus obviously a good Dimensity 920 chipset. I like that the performance of the smartphone is taken care of very well by the chip plus there is minimal heating as well. On the performance front, Realme has gone with the Mediatek Dimensity 920 SoC, which is paired with 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. This chipset runs at a maximum clock speed of 2.5GHz and is manufactured using a 6nm fabrication process. The phone supports several 5G bands along with dual-5G standby. It also has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and the usual satellite navigation systems.

The advanced 5G modem embedded in the Dimensity 920 is capable of implementing 2CC Carrier Aggregation spectrum, covering a wider 120MHz spectrum in this coverage area. It can go very far because of the carrier which supports the frequency merging with Mixed Duplex FDD+TDD. The chipset comes with support for Wi-Fi 6, 5G, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, NavIC, and more. The Dimensity 920 is one of Mediatek’s leading 5G chipsets that power mid-range devices and more and more brands like Xiaomi are opting to integrate the processor with their smartphones. Now smartphone brands can add an upgraded 2×2 antenna for Wi-Fi 6 to the Dimensity 920 chip when connected to a Wi-Fi 6 broadcaster with the same capabilities. It will help to improve the connection quality.

For the matter of display support, the Dimensity 920 comes with a stunning 120Hz refresh rate and can run 2,560x1,080 pixels displays for the same. For video encoding, it can encode in H.264, H.265/ HEVC. The chipset’s screen refresh rate of up to 120Hz for FullHD + also helps immensely in terms of gaming.
