Oppo’s newest- Oppo A16e
Oppo has very quietly launched a new smartphone in India called the Oppo A16e. The new smartphone is for the affordable segment and price of the device starts at Rs. 9,990 for the 3GB + 32GB variant and Rs. 11,990 for the 4GB + 64GB model in India. The design and build of the smartphone are decent and it is also a watered-down variant of the Oppo A16 that debuted last year. There is a waterdrop-style display notch and up to 64GB of onboard storage. The dual-SIM (Nano) Oppo A16e runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top and features a 6.52-inch HD+ (1,600x720 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 269ppi of pixel density. The display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has a peak brightness of 480 nits. The device is lightweight and easy to handle and comes in three vibrant colour options.
In terms of performance, Oppo has provided the essentials properly. The Oppo A16e is powered by an with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, along with up to 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Like mentioned, the Oppo A16e comes with up to 64GB of onboard eMMC 5.1 storage that supports expansion up to 1TB through a microSD card.
