Oppo Reno7 Pro 5G
Oppo’s new launches have been anticipated since some time and now the brand has finally launched the much awaited upgrade to its very successful Reno 6 series. The Oppo Reno 7 Pro has launched and carries a price tag of Rs. 39,999 for the sole 12GB + 256GB model. The newly launched smartphone went on sale from February 8. Both of the Reno 7 5G and Reno 7 Pro 5G devices are available in Starlight Black and Startrails Blue colours which look distinct and vibrant. In terms of features as we can see from the launch, the smartphone, especially the Pro model is very well equipped.
The dual-SIM (Nano) Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G runs on Android 11-based ColorOS 12 and features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Ironically, these days more budget smartphones carry AMOLED displays whereas the higher-end devices often forget to have it in place of other fancy features. So in that regard it is nice to see OPPO has gone the AMOLED route. The display also has Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max SoC along with 12GB of RAM. The customised Dimensity chipset will be interesting to see. This is further accompanied by a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor and an f/1.8 lens.
