Nokia gearing up to launch 2 new smart TV sets soon
There is new technology coming out almost every day all over the world. While the smartphone market still remains the most competitive and with the most products, the television market is also not too far behind and is catching up soon. A lot of new smart television sets have been launched in the recent time by a number of companies like MI TV, Samsung, LG and even OnePlus. All of these brands are very well known in the mobile market and have now also branched out in the smart TV segment of the market. Finland based brand Nokia is also gearing up to launch two new smart TVs for the Indian market. They will be launching these in 32-inch and 50-inch screen sizes. The company has been launching products intermittently in the meanwhile.
Nokia had been absent from the scene after the company’s first TV launched in India in December of last year. It was priced at ₹41,999, and has a 55-inch UHD display with 24W built-in speakers, sound by JBL, and 2.25GB RAM and 16GB ROM. Nokia is now making a come back in the market with its two brand new variants of smart TV.
Sporting model number 32TAHDN, which is the 32-inch Nokia smart TV, will have full HD resolution. This new offering will also mark the Finnish company’s debut as it will be Nokia’s first full HD smart TV in India. The second 50-inch model which has the model number 50TAUHDN will have UHD resolution. The release date as of now has not been revealed but it is being said that with the launch of these two new models, these could very well be Nokia’s cheapest smart TV available in the Indian market. Of course there is a pretty tough competition on that front as more and more brands are coming up with affordable technology options to increase accessibility for the consumers. As of now it is being believed that the company’s 32-inch smart TV would be priced around ₹21,999 and the second 50-inch model could cost something around ₹36,999.
It is also being speculated that the next premium Nokia smart TV will reportedly come with Intelligent Dimming, DTS TruSurround, Dolby Audio, and JBL speakers. These are some of the features which are already available on Nokia’s other smart TVs that are already available in the markets in India. Another thing that is worth noting is that Flipkart exclusively offers Nokia-branded smart TVs in India. In June of this year, Flipkart launched a 43-inch smart TV in India which was marked at the price of ₹31,999.
The new smart TVs by Nokia runs a CA53 quad-core processor paired with Mali 450 GPU. The Tv also features 2.25GB of RAM along with 16GB of inbuilt storage. As far as the software front is concerned, the Nokia 43-inch smart TV has Android 9.0. It should also be noted that the smart TV comes with Chromecast built-in.
