New Phone Alert: Realme 7

Realme has finally launched its much anticipated Realme 7 smartphone and the accompanying Realme 7 Pro. Realme had been teasing about the launch of these two phones for sometime now and it finally launched on September 3rd. The Realme 7 is a stellar smartphone which combines a mix of premium features and has great specs to boast. The phone is the newest Realme addition in the mid-range market after their back to back budget launches recently. Stepping into the specifications of the phone now: The Realme 7 comes in two variants of 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage which is priced at Rs. 14,999 and the top variant of 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage priced at Rs 16,999. Both variants can be expanded further via a microSD card with a dedicated slot. The smartphone along with the other Realme 7 Pro will become available for purchase on September 10 from the website Realme.com and Flipkart.

Talking further about all that the Realme 7 has to offer, the phone comes with a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with 1080x2400 pixel resolution and the display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. In looks, the phone is very eye-catching and features a mirror-split design that creates some interesting patterns when the light hits it. The phone comes in the colour variants of Mist White and Mist Blue which look very attractive with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Realme 7 is an upgrade from the Realme 6 in terms of the processor and battery and even the camera.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio HG95 processor which comes with 6GB/8GB of RAM. The Helio G95 is a finer variant of its predecessor the Helio G90T chipset that powers the Realme 6. In terms of gaming both of these processors are extremely capable and competent. The Helio G95 also employs MediaTek’s in-house HyperEngine game technology to give a seamless gaming experience. The phone runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own realme UI and is packed with a massive 5000mAh battery that supports fast charging.

In cameras, the Realme 7 sports a quad- camera setup at the rear comprising a 64MP primary sensor with LED flash and an f/1.8 aperture, a second 8MP 119° Ultra Wide Lens with f/2.3 aperture, with a 2MP 4cm macro and another 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the phone features a 16MP front camera. The smartphone comes with dual Nano SIM support. The Realme 7 certainly packs a powerful punch of premium features with some really stellar specs and makes for a boosted and well upgraded version of its very popular predecessor, the Realme 6
