New Phone Alert: Micromax In 1B
With all the hoopla surrounding the launch of the new ‘In’ series from Micromax, today we will look into the specifications of the second phone in the brand’s new series. The Micromax In 1B smartphone, which is the more affordable budget option in the series. There has been a lot of build up and anticipation leading up to the launch of the new series. This marks the official comeback of Micromax in the smartphone market in the country. This new series is part of the ‘Make in India’ initiative in a bid to compete and eventually remove the increasing number of phones from Chinese brands like Oppo, Xiaomi, Vivo and the likes. The brand has also promised to offer two years of software updates on the new smartphones.
The second phone in the series Micromax In 1b carries a price tag of Rs. 6,999 for the 2GB RAM + 32GB storage variant, whereas its 4GB RAM + 64GB storage version comes at Rs. 7,999. The Micromax In 1b comes with three distinct colour options of Blue, Green, and Purple colours. The phone measures 164.50 x 75.80 x 8.90mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 188.00 grams. It will be available from November 26 for purchase on Flipkart.
Now, coming to the specs of the In 1B, the dual-SIM (Nano) Micromax In 1B runs on Android 10. The phone features a 6.52-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. For performance, the phone has an octa-coreMediaTek Helio G35 SoC, coupled with 2GB of RAM. The phone comes with a solid 5,000mAh battery that supports proprietary fast charging as well.
The In 1B smartphone comes with a good set of features integrated. In the budget gaming segment of the mobile market there are a number of phones and now with this latest addition, the young gaming enthusiasts will have an even better option to go for. The newly launched Micromax In 1B in terms of camera features a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture at the back. This is followed by a second 2-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. Now, for selfies the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel camera on the front of the phone.
In storage options, the phone packs 32GB of inbuilt that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card with a dedicated slot. Connectivity options on the Micromax In 1b include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.
