Vivo has launched a new smartphone for the upper mid-range price segment. The smartphone looks promising in terms of its specs for sure. When it comes to the design aspect the phone has a sleek look and it’s pretty lightweight too, with just 7.38mm of thickness. The bezels are slim and there is a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a notch for the selfie shooter. Now let us look at the specs of the phone.

Firstly, the Vivo Y73 is a 4G smartphone. I just wanted to make that clear since there have been a lot of 5G launches recently and one out of two new phones is a 5G device. The Y73 is launched in a single RAM and storage model of 8GB+128GB which is priced at Rs. 20,990. The smartphone is offered in the colour variants of Diamond Flare and Roman Black colours. It is powered by a fast octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 SoC and runs Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11. Vivo Y73 packs a 4,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The smartphone has a triple rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel primary sensor. I think all this combined is pretty cool for the price. What do you think?
