New in the market: Oppo A16K
Oppo’s new launch comes in the form of the smartphone- A16K, for the budget segment. The device was launched recently and it is priced at a starting of Rs. 10,490 in India for the sole 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. The Oppo A16K comes equipped with some really impressive preloaded features for a budget smartphone which include FlexDrop, Three-finger Translate, and Freeform Screenshot. The A16K also has splash resistance through the IPX4 build and includes a graphite sheet to resist overheating which is pretty cool for a 10k smartphone.
In terms of display the smartphone features a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a 2.4D glass protection, measuring 164x75.4x7.85mm and weighing 175 grams. The smartphone has a waterdrop-style display notch and comes in three vibrant colour variants of Black, Blue, and White colours. The new Oppo phone is a watered-down variant of the regular Oppo A16 that debuted last year. The dual-SIM (Nano) Oppo A16K runs on Android-based ColorOS 11.1 Lite and has 32GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, which I think is a decent choice and will also support some light gaming. The Oppo device carries a 4230mAh removable battery which will further enhance the overall performance.
