The Poco C31 was launched very quietly for the budget segment under 10k price point. The smartphone has all entry-level features in it and they are pretty decent for its price too. The Poco C31 is available at the starting price of Rs. 8,499 in India.

The Poco C31 has a nice display and a big battery among other other specs. The budget smartphone was launched on 30th September and features a 6.53-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. In terms of dimensions, the Poco C31 measures 164.90 x 77.10 x 9.00mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 194.00 grams. The smartphone is available in two distinct colour variants of Shadow Grey and Royal Blue colours.

Like I mentioned, the Poco C31 has a solid battery. The smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh battery. I think it’s safe to say that the battery of the smartphone is its best feature. At least I think so. Furthermore, the Poco C31 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor, which is a suitable choice for budget devices and it also allows for some light gaming. The gaming processor is further paired with 4GB of RAM. Poco C31 smartphone runs MIUI 12 which is based on Android 10 and packs 32GB of inbuilt storage. This can be further expanded up to 512GB via microSD card with a dedicated slot.

Now, in terms of optics, the Poco C31 is decently packed. The smartphone houses a modest triple rear camera setup which is headlined by a 13- megapixel primary camera. This is then followed by a 2- megapixel sensor, and another 2- megapixel camera. For selfies and video calls, Poco has provided a single camera setup featuring a 5- megapixel sensor at the front of the device.

The Poco C31 comes with all regular connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, and Micro-USB. There are also various sensors on the phone including an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and a fingerprint sensor. The Poco C31 smartphone also supports face unlocking feature.
