Lava has been doing quite well in terms of its smartphones lately and the best example could be the Lava Agni 5G, which was the brand’s first 5G device and did very well in the market. Now Lava has launched an entry-level smartphone called the Lava Z3 in the Indian market. I think the price range is very affordable as it is aimed at the budget segment, and the specs are also decent enough for the under 8k price point. This new budget smartphone from Lava comprises features starting from a waterdrop notch display, big battery, dual cameras, and an entry-level mediatek chipset. The specs are quite modest to be honest but then we also have to consider the price point, which makes them justified.

The Lava Z3 sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution of 720×1600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and 263 ppl pixel density. The display has Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for unlocking the phone. The rear panel has a patterned design. The Mediatek Helio A20 chipset is a decent addition and is capable of handling regular tasks with ease. Lava has also provided the device in a single storage variant of 3GB+32GB and two colours options of Striped Blue and Striped Cyan. The patterned design looks fresh and nice. The new Lava Z3 smartphone has been priced in India at Rs 7,499, which I think is very affordable and makes for a decent regular use smartphone too.
