My top three stress busters!
It would be a big understatement if I say the past year had been tough. With so many uncertainties still clouding our future, it’s no doubt that stress levels have been going high for everyone. Everyone has their own way of dealing with stress and doing things that help them. I think personally, activities that involve more physical participation instead of just mental one helps me more if I’m trying to deal with stress. There are a lot of activities that can be called stress busters but for me the ones where I have to exert myself physically helps more. It may be different for everyone else of course. But these are some of the things I like doing which helps me tackle stress. I hope it helps.
Working out: I will be the first one to admit that I am no fitness freak. However, some cardio is always good and most importantly it makes me feel good. My choice of workout is mostly dancing or running.
Art projects: Painting is the biggest stress reliever for me. I am not particularly good at it but it doesn’t matter because it’s not like I have to set up an exhibition. Taking up small art projects and working on them slowly really helps to steady me when I am all over the place. It’s very therapeutic.
Cooking: Cooking is something which involves so many things. So many ingredients, the entire process, the waiting. All of this really helps build up my patience. It also calms me when I’m making something which I love or doing some baking.
These three activities are my top stress busters that have never failed me. I hope you find something here that helps you too!
