Mediatek Dimensity 1100 and 1200

Mediatek has launched two new 5G chipsets which look really impressive in terms of its specs and integrated features. Just looking at the CPU and GPU specs of the Dimensity 1100 and Dimensity 1200 one can discern the power of the chipsets.

Both of the Dimensity 1200 and 1100 have common features like MediaTek APU 3.0 for AI computing(APU on 1200 chipset has 10% more performance). In gaming support also, both of them employ the new MediaTek HyperEngine 3.0 gaming tech support, 5G call and data concurrency, multi-touch boost, ray tracing in games and AR apps, and super hotspot power savings.

In terms of CPU and GPU specs, both of the new chipsets are fully loaded with amazing features as well. Both the 1100 and 1200 are built on a 6nm process. In CPU cores, the Dimensity 1100 features ARM Cortex-A- (4x Cortex-A78 Power cores clocked up to 2.6GHz and 4x Cortex-A55 Efficiency cores clocked up to 2.0GHz.) In GPU the 1100 has ARM Mali G77 MC9 nine-core GPU. The RAM and memory of the chipset is also solid. The RAM– 4xLPDDR4x is clocked at a speed of 2133MHz. In storage capacity also there is a 2-lane UFS 3.1

The Dimensity 1200 is a more premium chipset than the Dimensity 1100 and the specs have a slight edge over the latter. In CPU it features ARM Cortex-A (1x Ultra-Core Cortex-A78 clocked up to 3.0GHz, 3x Cortex-A78 Super Cores clocked up to 2.6GHz, 4x Cortex-A55 power-efficiency cores clocked up to 2.0GHz). In GPU, the specs are pretty great as well. The chipset features ARM Mali G77 MC9 nine-core GPU. In RAM it features 4xLPDDR4x and it is clocked at a speed of 2133MHz. In storage there is 2-lane UFS 3.1.
