The first phone that will integrate this MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC will be an iQoo phone which is expected to launch soon. The Dimensity 1000 Plus is an octa-core chipset with four Cortex A-77 cores and four Cortex A-55 cores and is built on 7nm process. Additionally, the chip has support for 80MP that gives an incredible capture experience.
Besides promising all of these state of the art features and functions, the Dimensity 1000 plus also aces the experience of video playback with its new and advanced MiraVision enhanced HDR video playback and display technology which enhances HDR10+ content playback with MediaTek ‘local tone mapping’ technologies by retaining more detail and contrast even through the extremes of light and dark regions. MiraVision can even upgrade standard HDR10 video to approach HDR10+ quality in real-time, by creating dynamic metadata on-the-fly to enable per-frame luminance optimization without overexposure.
MediaTek Dimensity 1000 plus integrates a 5G NR modem that is capable of Carrier Aggregation and gives up to 4.7Gbps performance, full 5G SA/NSA and 2G-5G support. The MediaTek Dimensity 1000 plus has 4 Arm Cortex-A77 big CPU cores and 4 Arm Cortex-A55 cores. These specifications help the chipset to deliver a very powerful performance, both in regular usage as well as in gaming. The chip comes with a highly powerful Arm Mali-G77 GPU which offers incredible graphics support making your gaming experience more fulfilling. MediaTek Dimensity 1000 plus employs the upgraded MediaTek HyperEngine 2.0 for a super smooth interface and seamless gaming performance.
