Lava is doing a stellar job with its new release, the Z series. The recent launch by the Indian smartphone brand has once again piqued the interest of consumers towards Indian smartphones and the Z series from Lava is introduced for the budget segment. The series comprises four smartphones and three of them went on sale from January 11, along with the customized MyZ smartphones. As we know the MyZ smartphones are going to be customizable according to the buyer’s preferences. Lava’s new ‘Made-to-Order’ concept for smartphones will enable users to even choose between 2GB, 3GB, 4GB, or 6GB RAM and then further mix it with 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB ROM in a combination solely of the individual’s choice. Additionally, the brand will also let you choose between a dual (13+2MP) or a triple rear camera (13+5+2MP), an 8MP or a 16MP selfie camera. You will also have the option to select the colour of your choice and make your very own version of Lava’s Z series. This is certainly a refreshing concept for Indian consumers.

The Lava Z1 is priced at Rs 5,499, the Z2 is priced at Rs 6,999, the Z4 will cost you Rs 8,999 and finally, the Z6 will be worth Rs 9,999. The Lava Z6 has the highest storage variant among all the others and is the most suitable for tackling heavier tasks, including gaming. The Lava Z6 smartphone was launched on 7th January 2021 with the others and it comes with a 6.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Like I said, the Lava Z6 has the highest storage variant of 6GB and with it is coupled an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 gaming processor which is a pretty solid addition in the smartphone. When it comes to performance, the Helio G35 is a strong companion that doesn’t fail you and provides really amazing support for gaming as well. The 6GB RAM has an in-built storage of 64GB that can be expanded via microSD card. The Lava Z6 runs Android 10 and is powered by a big 5000mAh battery. A 5000mAh battery is more than capable of providing sufficient hours of backup on a single charge.

Coming to the optics of the smartphone now. The Lava Z6 comes with a triple camera setup that makes up the rear of the device. Tha Lava Z6 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera which is followed by a second 5-megapixel camera and finally a third 2-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup also comes with autofocus. In the front of the device there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter camera that will help you with accessorising your social media feed. The Lava Z6 is equipped with most of the basic connectivity options that there are including Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. There are also some sensors that the Lava Z6 boasts of like an accelerometer, proximity sensor, as well as a fingerprint sensor.
