Gaming champ: Realme 8

The Realme 8 is a lot of things, but most importantly it is an excellent choice of smartphone to indulge in some heavy gaming. The Realme 8 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 processor, which I’m seeing after quite some time. And this is coupled with a 4GB RAM. The Helio G95 is especially designed for hefty gaming and it is part of Mediatek’s immensely popular range of gaming processors. The chipset employs the brand’s in-house HyperEngine gaming technology which gives you a seamless gaming experience. We all love a lag-free interface, don’t we? And the Helio G95 provides that perfectly. The Realme 8 is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, and Rs. 16,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. All of them are expandable via microSD card with a dedicated slot. The smartphone runs Android 11.

Another big highlight of the Realme 8 is the big battery which contributes more towards a great gaming support. The smartphone packs in a massive 5000mAh battery. This is further supported by 30W SuperDart charging. For a mid-range smartphone this quite a nice feature to have and phones with solid fast charging options are always appreciated.
