I have been having smoothies for a while now and I think it is a very convenient as well as healthy breakfast to have. Especially when you are running late they take no time to make at all and you can whip it up in minutes. I mostly drink frozen fruit smoothies for breakfast but sometimes, especially during the winter months, I also make some leafy greens. I’ll share my go-to smoothie recipes in this blog that you can make in minutes and are also really delicious.

Berry and yogurt- Cut and freeze all the berries and fruits overnight. You can add strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, along with grapes and apples. Add a little bit of yogurt, you can use regular or Greek, and if you don’t have yogurt you can use curd also. Put some honey or maple syrup, a dollop of almond butter and blend it all together.

Summer special- Cut and freeze mangoes, pineapples, and cherries (if you can find) overnight. Add them in a blender with some coconut water, sprigs of fresh mint, a pinch of sea salt and some lemon juice and blend them all together for this refreshing peak summer freshness.

Leafy greens- In the blender, add some blanched baby spinach, a frozen banana, an orange, and a pinch of cinnamon. You can also add a bit of chilli powder for some kick. Blend it all with some almond milk or coconut milk and have this filling, energizing green smoothie.
