The Realme 8S 5G, as we know marked the debut of the first ever Mediatek Dimensity 810 SoC. So, I will say that is the best specification on the phone for sure. The 6-nm chipset is paired with up to 8GB of RAM, and also has a new ‘Dynamic RAM Expansion’ feature, that appears to use the storage to augment the RAM, providing up to 11GB total in case of the 6GB RAM model and 13GB total in case of the 8GB RAM model. The Realme 8s will run Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage.
For the starting price of Rs. 17,999 for the 6GB + 128GB storage variant, I really think this Dimensity processor is a good choice. The higher 8GB + 128GB model is available to purchase for Rs. 19,999.
Another feature that I love is the camera setup. Realme 8s 5G houses a really wonderful triple rear camera module that comes with a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens. This is then followed by a 2-megapixel monochrome portrait sensor with an f/2.4 lens and finally a 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. For selfies and video calls, the Realme 8s 5G comes with a 16-megapixel selfie shooter at the front of the device with an f/2.1 lens. I really like the camera module and like I said, for the offered price, these two features are definitely the best in the Realme 8S 5G.
