Arrange your bookshelf in different ways for a new look

Some people like stress cleaning and I like stress redecorating. Actually, it’s not even that much about stress making me do it. I just, in general, like to redecorate and rearrange my house from time to time. The help it offers dealing with stress is just an added bonus. My favourite thing to rearrange is my bookshelf. I always have it organized in some kind of order- whether it’s by book size, publication, colour, or alphabetical order.

By colour- You could do it in two ways. One way to do it could be to put all the similar coloured books together and work your way through others. Second could be making a combination. I sometimes make a pile of blacks and whites, reds and yellows, blues and greens and so on. Mixing and matching helps in sprucing up your bookshelf.

By title/alphabetical order- This is the simplest way and saves time in finding a particular title when you’re in a hurry. But it could also look quite chaotic, so go ahead and add some random accessories to make it pop up.

By size- I’m not very fond of this one. I like asymmetrical arrangements better, and especially if you have an open shelf. But this helps when you have limited space and a closed book shelf or cabinet.
