The smartphone market has to be one of the most competitive markets out there with multiple devices being launched every other day. To think that only some years ago we had been living our lives without any sort of mobiles. Today, even the thought of going just one day without these small devices seems like such an impossible feat. Although it is true that people are becoming increasingly device-dependent with mobile phones, the fact also has to be noted that they have made all our work immensely more convenient. In the mid-range segment of the smarphone market there is the most competition. In that sense, a lot of companies are putting forth constant efforts in one-upping their competitors. Realme is no different. With the new addition to its ever-growing kitty of smartphones, Realme has launched the 6i that is packed with some truly incredible features. The base variant of 4GB and 64GB internal storage starts at Rs. 12,999 and the top with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage goes up to Rs. 14,999. At this price, the number of functionalities and features that the smartphone is offering is a lot more than one could expect. The Realme 6i is powered by the MediaTek Helio G90T which is among the top processors designed especially for gaming experiences. The MediaTek chipset delivers an impressive performance with its super-fast responsive touch and lag-free gameplay. The graphics are smooth and the colours are truly eye-popping which is sure to give the avid gamers the most satisfaction. Packed with a 4,300mAh battery the 6i delivers well on the performance front. The Realme 6i also offers a 90Hz refresh rate with its 6.5-inch display. There is a fingerprint scanner mounted on the right side of the device while the left sports the volume buttons. For the cameras a selfie shooter is positioned in the top left corner of the glass screen which comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The pill-shaped camera module at the rear protrudes slightly with a metal trim around it to keep the camera lenses safe. The Realme 6i has a quad camera setup at the back with the primary 48-megapixel sensor, plus an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel portrait camera, and another 2-megapixel macro camera. The phone looks sleek and fresh with its single-tone variant of two-colour options of Lunar White and Eclipse Black that it is available in. The Realme 6i is a dual SIM device with three slots and supports Nano-SIMs and one for a microSD card. At the bottom of the phone, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack, a primary microphone along with a speaker and a USB Type-C port.

The Realme 6i with all its plate full of features and stunning specs is an example of how affordable technology has made billions of lives easier and how even more companies and brands should make the efforts of making their products accessible and budget friendly.
